A vodcast (short for "video podcast") is like a short TV show that’s distributed via the internet. Episodes can be streamed or downloaded and watched on various devices, such as computers, smartphones, or smart TVs.
Our new Smarter Living series of vodcasts will cover a range of financially related topics to help our members make the most of their money, now and in the future.
We'll discuss more than just savings accounts and mortgage products and our first two episodes will launch on our website soon.
Episode one - coming soon
In our first episode, Derek Johnston, our Chief Risk Officer will discuss fraud and scams with Ian Sage our Head of Digital, and Giles Mason, from Take Five.
You’ll hear about some of the most common types of scams along with some helpful tips on how to spot them and how to protect yourself, as well as hearing about some of things we do to help protect your money.
Episode two - coming soon
Episode 2 will be hosted by Sheena Robb from our Sustainability Working Group. Sheena will joined by Michelle Robinson, Head of Business Development at Snugg and Eddie Curran, Director at GreenFox Energy.
They'll discuss the importance of reducing energy bills and carbon emissions, with plenty of ideas on the simple things we can all do to help protect our environment and save money. Michelle and Eddie will also give more information about the services each company offers and the benefits of being a Scottish Building Society member.
