Paying money into your savings account
You can make deposits into your savings account in any of our Relationship Centres by cash or cheque, by post (cheques only), or by bank transfer or using an eligible debit card. Please note debit card payments are capped at £1000.
If you want to pay in by Bank Transfer
You can use the account details below to make a bank transfer or set up a standing order:

Confirmation of Payee
Confirmation of Payee (CoP) is an account name checking service that can help avoid payments going to the wrong account
As a business account, Scottish Building Society is not included in the scope of the CoP service. Because of this, you might see “Not possible to verify account details" when transferring funds from another bank
Don’t worry, though, as long as the account details are entered correctly as shown above, the transfer will be processed as requested.
Deposits by phone
You can pay in up to £1000 using an eligible debit card by calling us on 0333 207 4007.
Lines open 9-5 Mon to Fri (10-5 Wed). Calls may be recorded and/or monitored.
Withdrawing money from your savings account
Withdrawals from your account can made in our Relationship Centres or by post:

Subject to your account terms and conditions, you can withdraw up to £1000 in cash from any of our Relationship Centres during normal opening hours.
We can also issue cheques or arrange a bank transfer for special one-off expenses such as a new car or holiday.
