1. By entering the competition, I acknowledge and consent to Scottish Building Society processing my personal information (name and contact details) for the purpose of reviewing the entries and administering the competition.
2. I understand the details will be used by Scottish Building Society to contact the winner(s) and to arrange the prize following the competition in accordance with the terms and conditions.

3. The competition is open to all UK residents aged 18 or over, with the exception of i) employees (including contractors and temporary employees) of the Promoter and their immediate family members or ii) employees (including contractors and temporary employees) of Edinburgh Rugby and their family.
4. By entering the competition, you confirm that you meet the above eligibility criteria.
How to enter
5. To enter the competition, entrants must like the post, follow Scottish Building Society on Instagram, tag one friend in the comment section of Scottish Building Society’s Instagram competition social post, and share the post to their story.
6. Entries on behalf of another person will not be accepted and joint submissions are not allowed. Only one entry per person is permitted.
7. Entries submitted on other social platforms or on any other social posts will not be accepted.
8. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries not successfully completed due to a technical fault of any kind.
9. If you wish to withdraw your entry from this competition please delete your comment on the competition post.
Winning entries
10. The opening date for entries is as follows: Competition opens on Wednesday 6th May 2026 Closing date Sunday 10th May 2026.
11. The winner will be chosen at random by the Promoter’s staff members from all entries. The winners will be contacted by Tuesday 12th May 2026 to claim their prize of a signed Edinburgh Rugby shirt.
12. The winner will be notified by Scottish Building Society (the Promoter) via a comment on the Instagram post of which they entered and asked to send a direct message to Scottish Building Society. The Promoter will make two attempts to contact the winners and if the winner does not respond within three days of first being notified by the Promoter, then that winner’s prize will be forfeited and the Promoter will be entitled to select another winner in accordance with the process described above.
13. Details of the winners (surname and county only) can be obtained upon request (for a period of two months) following the close of the competition by writing to the Promoter at Scottish Building Society at, 193 Dalry Road, Edinburgh, EH11 2EF after the draw has taken place. Entrants can object to their information being made available to the public by writing to Scottish Building Society at 193 Dalry Road, Edinburgh, EH11 2EF. The Promoter must still provide the information and winning entries to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.
14. The prize for the winner is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternative is offered.
15. The Promoter reserves the right to replace the prize with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond the Promoter’s control make it necessary to do so.
16. The decision of the Promoter regarding any aspect of the competition is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.
17. The competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, affiliated or associated with any third parties that might be indirectly involved.
18. Participants are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions upon entry. The Promoter reserves the right not to award the prize to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions.
19. The Promoter reserves the right to hold, void, suspend, cancel or amend the competition where it becomes necessary to do so. The Promoter does not accept any responsibility if you are not able to take up the prize.
20. These terms and conditions shall be governed by Scottish Law, and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Scotland.
