Snugg is making energy efficient homes simple and affordable for everyone.
Snugg, believes that making your home more energy efficient should be simple and affordable. But for many, the process of researching and improving their home’s efficiency can seem complicated and expensive.
With a view to taking the headache out of the equation, Snugg has developed an easy-to-use online tool that provides you with a personalised plan, access to trusted installers and funding recommendations. This will guide you towards making your home more energy efficient, which can reduce its carbon emissions and energy bills, as well as add to the home’s value.
Based in Edinburgh, Snugg was founded by Robin Peters, who, as a father, saw the need to tackle climate change in a bid to leave the planet in better health for his two daughters and for future generations to come. With a background in engineering, Robin created Snugg to help guide and support homeowners in implementing measures that would make their homes greener, and in doing so, have a positive impact on the environment (and their wallets).

That is why Scottish Building Society has partnered with Snugg. This partnership provides customers with a personalised energy-saving plan that can reduce carbon emissions as well as cut energy bills. By working together, we can all make a real difference to climate change.
To get started with Snugg, you just need to enter your postcode on this page. They will build a personalised home improvement plan for you and check your eligibility for government grants. Snugg will ask for your email address at registration which will allow you to re-visit your plan whenever you like. You will only be sent emails if you opt in to email marketing when registering.
