We are currently recruiting for an Area Manager within our Edinburgh branch.

The Role:

As an Area Manager you will be responsible for developing our business within Edinburgh & the Lothians, as well as leading the Edinburgh branch team.

You will be responsible for:

  • Developing existing and new business in line with society targets for mortgages and investments
  • Developing and maintaining excellent relationships with agents, intermediaries, solicitors and surveyors
  • Conducting Mortgage Interviews for direct business
  • Leading a team of branch assistants and mortgage advisors, coaching and mentoring to deliver customer service excellence

Experience Required

Candidates should have:

  • Previous experience within a bank or building society at supervisory or managerial level
  • Mortgage Interviewing experience and CEMAP essential
  • Business Development skills
  • Passion for customer excellence
