How to open an account

Opening an account couldn't be easier. Simply complete your application form and take it, with your deposit, to any Scottish Building Society or local office.

Alternatively, you can send your completed application form, together with your initial deposit, to us at the following address:

Cheques should be made payable to Scottish Building Society with your name along side it.

We will send your passbook as soon as possible.

To comply with legislation we will need to verify your identity and address. Further information is available from any Society office or from the website.
